On August 22, the Provincial Fiber Inspection Bureau received a complaint from Anhui Weiguang Textile Co., Ltd. The company reported that in February of this year, it purchased approximately 42.7 tons of cotton from another region, consisting of 17.7% Grade 2 white cotton, 77.4% Grade 3 white cotton, and 4.9% Grade 4 white cotton. During use, the company discovered that the quality of this batch of cotton severely deviated from the specifications stated in the notarized inspection certificate. The company immediately contacted the seller for negotiation and sought assistance from the Provincial Fiber Inspection Bureau. On August 23, law enforcement officers from the Bureau's Inspection and Supervision Division, along with cotton technical experts, visited the company to investigate and verify the situation, helping the company safeguard its rights in accordance with the law. The seller of the cotton batch had reached a settlement with the company, which expressed great satisfaction with the resolution.
